Senior Programmer/Programmer

Job Description

You'll be a member of a highly committed and professional programming team which is serving almost ¼ of schools in Hong Kong and new markets like Japan, Taiwan and the UK.

This is an exciting and rewarding post in which you will be exposed to any of one or more of our exciting projects, including WebRTC, speech recognition, Big Data analysis, AI, etc. It demands ambition and commitment from you while offers you a competitive package and a promising career prospect.

Key responsibilities include

  • Perform system analysis, design, development, maintenance and support for our education-focused application systems, including our signature e-learning platforms and new initiatives like WebRTC for interactive education, integrated speech recognition and big data analyses plus AI feedback
  • To assist in the development, maintenance and support of existing platforms, from web-based applications, database, to network stability and capacity
  • Explore new technologies and drive for innovation, especially new development tools, new algorithmic code, bring better solution for existing environment
  • Perform other jobs as assigned by manager

The Ideal Candidate

You will be eager to acquire new knowledge, result-oriented and possess   robust self-drive. You will have a preference of developing effective and fun educational programmes that are truly of top quality and have excellent social values.

Qualifications and Requirements: -

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
  • Experienced in PHP, MySQL Enterprise, JavaScript, Redis
  • Experience or good knowledge of Database clustering , Node.js, Python and sound technology will be a plus.
  • Strong system analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Can-do attitude with excellent communication skills
