ROLE SUMMARY:
Informa Markets Asia Jewellery Exhibitions is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Senior Marketing Manager to lead audience growth, enhance exhibitor value, and drive revenue for the world’s premier B2B jewellery trade fairs. This role demands a strategic and innovative leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-performance environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy, with a strong focus on demand generation, digital acquisition, and seamless event delivery, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives and revenue targets.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Planning & Revenue Growth
- Develop and own the annual marketing strategy and plan for the Jewellery events portfolio across Hong Kong, Dubai, and international outbound markets, prioritising audience acquisition, P&L impact, and revenue contribution.
- Design and implement a data-driven demand generation framework to achieve measurable outcomes, including lead generation, conversion, and retention.
- Manage and optimise the marketing budget, ensuring accurate forecasting, cost efficiency, and maximised ROI.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to define and align Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), ensuring effective lead lifecycle management and closed-loop feedback processes.
Digital Marketing & Channel Optimisation
- Build and manage a high-performing digital marketing portfolio, encompassing SEO/SEM, paid social, programmatic advertising, email marketing, and marketing automation.
- Identify and validate emerging digital channels to expand reach and improve efficiency.
- Lead website and landing page optimisation efforts to enhance user experience and conversion rates.
Event Management & Audience Growth
- Drive end-to-end visitor acquisition for events, ensuring registration volume, quality, and attendance conversion meet or exceed targets.
- Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns to promote events, leveraging data insights to optimise performance and maximise ROI.
- Collaborate with Event Management and Operations teams to deliver seamless event experiences that align with audience needs and business objectives.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Partner with Regional Data team and Regional Marketing team to develop real-time dashboards and reports that track channel performance, lead quality, and revenue impact.
- Institutionalise A/B testing, cohort analysis, and funnel diagnostics to continuously improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with data governance standards across CRM and marketing automation platforms.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and results-driven excellence.
- Collaborate seamlessly with Sales, Event Management, and Operations, as well as Regional Data team and Regional Marketing team on audience development, key buyer programs, value propositions, and onsite/virtual activation plans. Align definitions and handoffs to reduce friction and cycle time.
- Manage external agencies and partners to ensure quality, timeliness, and alignment with strategic objectives.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in Marketing Communications and Product Marketing, with a strong focus on multi-industry expertise and event management.
- At least 5 years of proven experience leading and managing high-performing marketing teams.
- Proven track record in designing and executing data-driven demand generation programmes that deliver measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes.
- Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, paid social, programmatic advertising, email marketing, and website optimisation.
- Strong business acumen, with experience in P&L ownership, budget management, and ROI optimisation.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Marketing Automation Platforms, and analytics tools.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams under tight deadlines.
- A curious and innovative mindset, with a passion for continuous learning and leveraging new marketing technologies.
- Extensive event management experience, with a proven ability to deliver high-impact events that drive audience engagement and business outcomes.
- B2B international marketing experience, with a focus on multi-market priorities.
- Excellent in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
